Bricks
The fair-faced bricks marketed by RUSTIQUE ITALIA are made of 100% natural materials: earth, sand and water. Different colours are obtained using 16 different types of sand and clay.
To produce the bricks, we use fully automated systems and special PC-controlled kilns 150/200 metres in length. Once baked, the bricks are sorted and palletised by robots and mechanical hands, completing the production process which can take between 7 and 12 days.
We only use the very best natural raw materials and baking at high temperature (1050-1260°C) to guarantee the quality of the bricks as well as:
- FROST RESISTANCE and HARDNESS for use in extreme weather conditions
- INTENSE and STABLE COLOURS Warm, natural colours thanks to 100% natural raw materials, quite unlike the artificial colours of certain imitations which use pigments (colouring agents).
Strips and corner pieces
RUSTIQUE ITALIA makes the strips and corner pieces directly, using automated systems and state-of-the-art technology produced in Italy to cut the fair-faced bricks.
We have new production lines that are much faster and more efficient, increasing productivity and flexibility.
The strips are 23 mm thick and make laying and grouting much better and more stable than thinner strips about 8-12 mm thick, which can pose problems as they tend to detach from the wall and make grouting awkward.
Flooring
RUSTIQUE ITALIA sells 45-mm thick brick floor tiles that are far better quality than 80-mm thick concrete tiles and are four times stronger because they are made of clay packed in special moulds and baked at 1100°C.
The brick floor tiles are durable and colour-fast. The bricks are uniform in colour. The tiles are made of an extensive range of coloured clay baked to obtain many different colours without the need for artificial additives or colouring agents. The result is a highly durable colour.
Because they are double-sided and simple shaped, the bricks can be used in many different ways: low walls, edging, steps and an infinite number of other applications. Furthermore, each brick floor tile has 5 possible surfaces (2 flat sides + 2 end sides + 1 lateral side).
